These fabrics are woven with fine silks, and they are known for the attractive and rich looking Pallus. The Pallus mostly come decorated with artistic and exquisite depictions of mythological scenes and motifs, as well. Initially, these sarees were designed only for the rich because not all customers could afford to buy these exclusive and opulent sarees. However, now they have increased in popularity among people of all income groups, and are draped in various occasions.

3    The Gadwall Sarees:
This is another popular form of saree that come blended in cotton and silk. Cotton is used in creating the main fabric of the saree while the borders are made in silk. The borders are often attached at a later stage. These types of sarees mainly originated in the small town of gadwall in Andhra Pradesh.
